We’re already halfway through December, and the Christmas atmosphere is really starting to show in Milan : lights in the streets, markets, busier cafés, and the cold slowly settling in… (no snow, unfortunately 😔). You can really feel the end of the year approaching.

This month, I was lucky to spend a weekend in Venice. It was my first time there, and it was amazing. The streets were quiet, sometimes even silent, and there weren’t many people… the perfect setting to take a break from everyday life in Milan and experience something completely different.

Back in Milan, the pace has been a bit slower these days. We had a few events with AVIS : between organizing, meeting people, and spending time with the team and volunteers, the weeks went by quickly. I met some wonderful people, and some projects for 2026 are already starting to take shape. I can’t wait to get started !

And now, Christmas is coming. I’m starting to think about a little break in France to see my family and enjoy the holidays. A pause before coming back to Milan to finish the year and prepare for what’s next, and to recharge a bit.

For now, December is moving at a slower pace: a bit of travel, a bit of work, plenty of time to think about what’s next, and a few moments to enjoy the approach of the year’s end.
